Service Area — Where MedxFill / HCAIP Operates
This page describes where MedxFill Corporation's Healthcare Intelligence Platform (HCAIP) accepts patients, where pharmacy fulfillment is performed, and the regulatory framework that governs each.
MedxFill Corporation operates the Healthcare Intelligence Platform (HCAIP, hcaip.com) as a facilitator of doctor-to-patient telemedicine and licensed pharmacy fulfillment in the United States. MedxFill does not itself practice medicine and does not itself dispense prescription medication; clinical care is delivered by independently licensed clinicians who contract with the platform, and prescriptions are routed to pharmacies licensed and operated under their own state licensure.
Telemedicine — Patient Locations Served
As of August 5, 2026, HCAIP facilitates doctor-to-patient telemedicine services only for patients physically located in the State of California. This limited launch scope is in effect through December 31, 2026 and will be re-evaluated for broader geographic availability prior to that date.
- All prescribing clinicians contracted on HCAIP hold active, unencumbered licensure through the Medical Board of California (MBC) and are credentialed per MedxFill's Credentialing Policy v1.0.
- Patient location is verified at the time of appointment booking and re-confirmed at the start of every encounter via IP geolocation, patient-entered ZIP, and clinician acknowledgment. Patients physically located outside California at the time of encounter are blocked from initiating or continuing a clinical encounter.
- HCAIP does not provide telemedicine services to patients located outside California during this launch phase, regardless of the patient's state of residence or citizenship.
- If services are extended to additional states, this page will be updated before any patient in that state is scheduled.
Pharmacy Fulfillment — Where Prescriptions Are Filled
During the California-only launch phase, all pharmacy fulfillment is performed by pharmacies licensed and in good standing with the California State Board of Pharmacy under the California Pharmacy Law, Business and Professions Code §§4000 et seq. Prescriptions are routed to the patient's preferred pharmacy within the HCAIP partner network, or to the patient's pharmacy of record when compatible.
- HCAIP does not mail, ship, or dispense prescription medications directly to patients from MedxFill premises.
- HCAIP does not deliver Schedule II–V controlled substances. MedxFill's Controlled Substance Policy v1.0 prohibits the prescribing, dispensing, or facilitating of any federally scheduled controlled substance on the platform; controlled substances are blocked at the formulary level in HCAIP's e-prescribing module.
Service Restrictions
- Patients must be physically located in California at both the time of booking and at the time of encounter. The encounter will be terminated if either condition fails.
- Patients will be asked to verify their identity (government-issued photo ID, selfie + liveness match, and location match) before any clinical encounter begins. Identity Verification SOP v1.0.
- Telemedicine encounters are conducted via synchronous audio-video by a licensed California physician; the prescribing clinician's full name, license type and number, and the issuing authority (Medical Board of California) are disclosed to the patient at booking and again at the start of the encounter, per California Business & Professions Code §2290.5(a)(1).
- Telemedicine-specific informed consent is captured before each encounter per California Business & Professions Code §2290.5(b), separately from any general Terms of Service.
- No patient-initiated encounter is permitted until the patient has affirmatively confirmed that they have read this Service Area page.
